1 What makes the Moto G Stylus (2026) special?

Here's what's worth knowing, in plain English:

1. A proper built-in pen This is the reason to buy this phone. It has a real active stylus tucked into the body — one that senses tilt and how hard you press. Slide it out and jot a note, tap precisely, sign a form, or draw. If your fingers find small targets fiddly, a pen can be far easier.
2. Handy pen tools It comes with tools that make the pen genuinely useful: write out a sum and it works out the answer, turn a rough sketch into a picture, and take quick handwritten notes. You can ignore all of it and just use the pen to tap and scribble, too.
3. It now charges wirelessly New this year, it charges wirelessly (15 watts) as well as by cable — just set it on a pad, no plugging in.
4. A bright, sharp screen — and it keeps the headphone jack The OLED screen is brighter and crisper than the cheaper Moto G models, and it still has a real headphone jack and a memory-card slot.

2 Is the Moto G Stylus (2026) right for me?

It's a great fit for someone who likes the idea of writing or tapping with a pen — for notes, forms, signatures, or simply because a pen tip is easier to aim than a fingertip — and wants a bright, sharp screen.

Consider a different model if: If you'd never use a pen, you can save money with the Moto G Power (bigger battery) or a plain Moto G. And it only gets 2 big Android updates.

3 How much does it cost, and where should I buy it?

That's the launch price for the 128GB model, on sale since April 16, 2026 (a 256GB version runs about $599). Motorola has bundled extras with it at times, and trade-ins can lower the price, so check the current deal before buying.

The Moto G Stylus earns its price only if the pen appeals to you — and for some people (precise tapping, handwriting, signing forms) it's a genuine help. 4 How do I move everything from my old phone?

From another Android phone, the setup screen offers to copy your apps and data — easiest with a cable between the two phones, or from your Google backup over Wi-Fi. Your contacts, photos, apps and settings come across. Coming from an iPhone takes a bit more care, and that's one of my most common calls.

5 How do I make it easier to see and hear?

Open Settings > Display and raise the Font size and Display size sliders; for even more, use Settings > Accessibility > Display size and text and turn on Bold text. Switch on Live Caption to put words on almost any video, and know the phone works with many Bluetooth hearing aids. Your camera, with Google Lens, also doubles as a magnifying glass for small print.

Your phone is safe; the tricks come by text, email and call. Motorola, Google, your bank and Amazon will never call, text or email to say your account is locked or you owe money — that's always a scam.
