Tech Help That Feels Like Family
For seniors and families who want technology that just works — without the frustration, and peace of mind for the people they love.
💡 One flat $99 per in-home visit — I come out, look at what's going wrong, and fix as much as I can in the time we've got together (up to 3 hours; if it runs long, it's still $99). 30-day follow-up included at no charge. No hourly billing, no surprise fees, no jargon.
Why Bill Gets It
"My mother Joanne is 90 years old. I watched her try to video call her best friend one evening — and the look on her face when she couldn't figure it out just broke my heart. She's sharp as a tack. The technology just wasn't designed for her. That's when I knew someone needed to fix this problem. Someone patient. Someone local. Someone who actually cares."
Bill didn't start this business to get rich. He started it because he saw a real gap — smart, capable seniors being left behind by technology that was supposed to help them. He knows what it's like, because he's living it too.
Bill's Home Tech, LLC is fully insured — for your peace of mind and your family's.
Sound Familiar?
These are the most common things Bill helps seniors with. If you're dealing with any of these, you're not alone — and there's a simple solution.
"My new phone is confusing."
Bill sets it up, transfers everything from your old phone, and teaches you how to use it. No rushing, no jargon.
"My internet is too slow."
Whether it's the router, the service, or just the placement, Bill finds the real problem and gets it working.
"I can't video call my grandkids."
FaceTime, Zoom, Google Meet — Bill sets it up and walks you through it until it feels natural.
"I got a scary message on my computer."
Tech scams target seniors. Bill can tell you if it's real or fake — and protect you before you call the number.
"I can't figure out my TV."
Modern TVs have too many remotes and menus. Bill simplifies your setup so watching TV is easy again.
"I forgot my password — again."
Bill helps you get back into your accounts and sets up a password system that's secure and easy to remember.

Coordinating for Mom or Dad from out of town? Here's how it works:
Live a few towns — or a few states — away? You can set up an in-home visit for your parent and stay in the loop the whole time, without having to be there.
You book it & tell me what's going on
Book online or call me at (330) 200-8042 and tell me what your mom or dad is running into. I'll set a time that works for them — the $99 flat visit covers the whole thing.
I call ahead & keep you posted
I call ahead before I come, show up in my work shirt so they know it's me, and text you when I arrive and again when I'm done — so you're never wondering what's happening.
You get a plain-English summary
Afterward I send you a plain-English write-up of what I fixed, and I square up with you directly — whatever's easiest, check, card, or cash. No surprises, no hourly billing.
More on how this works on Helping a Parent. If the fix can happen on a screen, a $49 remote session may be all it takes.
Protecting Seniors from Tech Scams
Tech scams targeting seniors have become an epidemic. Fake "Microsoft support" calls, phishing emails, gift card scams — they're more convincing than ever. Bill can help you recognize them and protect yourself.
Common Red Flags Bill Teaches:
- 🚩 Any popup saying your computer is infected and to call a number
- 🚩 Someone calling claiming to be from Microsoft, Apple, or Medicare
- 🚩 Anyone asking you to buy gift cards to pay a bill or fine
- 🚩 Emails or texts asking you to "verify" your bank or Social Security info
- 🚩 Anyone asking to take remote control of your computer
Rule of thumb: If something feels wrong, hang up and call Bill. He'll tell you if it's real.

Help without a house call — when it's something on your screen
Sometimes the trouble is a setting, an email, or a "is this a scam?" question — and Bill can help you right then, over the phone, by looking at your screen with you. It's called remote support, and you stay in charge the whole time.
Here's exactly how it works, so there are no surprises: you call Bill, he texts or emails you a secure link, you click it, and your computer asks if you want to let Bill see your screen. Nothing happens until you say yes. You watch everything he does, you can talk the whole time, and you can hang up or disconnect whenever you like. When you're done, the connection closes and Bill keeps nothing.
A session is a flat $49, up to 2 hours — and included free if you're on the $39/mo Support Plan — and if it turns out you need Bill in person, that $49 comes right off the $99 visit. One thing to remember: Bill will never call you out of the blue asking to get on your screen — a real session only ever starts from a call you made to (330) 200-8042. Anyone else asking is a scam. Confidentiality in your home
What I see in your home — your bills on the counter, your medication list on the fridge, the MyChart message your daughter sent you, the photos on your screen saver — I forget the moment I walk out the door. I don't write it down. I don't share it with anyone, including other customers. I don't talk about you to neighbors — even the ones I also work for. That's not a written policy I copied from the internet; that's how I was raised and how my mother Joanne taught me to treat the people who let you into their homes.
