Common questions from adult kids
My parent isn't in Portage County. Can you still help?
In-person visits are Portage County only (Atwater, Ravenna, Kent, Streetsboro, Aurora, Rootstown, Mantua, Garrettsville, Windham, Edinburg, Suffield). If they're outside, the gift card isn't usable for an in-home visit — call me at (330) 200-8042 first and I'll be straight with you before you buy.
Do the gift cards expire?
No. The $99 visit credit never expires.
What if they don't use it?
You can transfer it to a sibling's parent, or to a neighbor who needs help. Within 30 days I'll refund unredeemed cards — just email me. After 30 days they're yours to give away.
Will my parent feel weird about a "tech help" gift?
Most of my older customers tell me their grown kids gifting this is the kindest thing they got that year. It's not "you're bad with technology" — it's "I want you to feel confident and not have to ask me." Frame it that way and it lands.
Can I buy multiple cards for siblings to chip in?
Absolutely. Gift cards stack — if you and your brother each buy a $99 card, that's two in-home visits credited to Mom's account. I'll keep them straight on my end.
