Device Training & Lessons — Finally Feel at Home With Your Phone, Tablet or Computer
Nobody's born knowing this stuff, and there are no silly questions. I sit down with you in your own home, at your own pace, and walk you through whatever's been tripping you up — texting the grandkids, video calls, email, staying safe online. You do the tapping and typing yourself, so it sticks after I leave.

Learning at your own pace — with someone who won't rush you
Most people don't need a class or a thick manual — they need one patient person to sit beside them and show them, slowly, on their own device. That's what a lesson with me is. We start with what you want to do, not a script. I explain things in plain English, let you try each step yourself so your hands remember it, and write the steps down so you have them after I'm gone. Come with a list of everything that's been frustrating you — we'll work through it together, and you'll leave feeling more confident, not more confused.
What the flat fee covers
One price for the whole lesson — your questions, hands-on practice, and written notes to keep. Here's what's included:
- Patient one-on-one time — we work from your list, as slowly as you need, with no silly questions.
- Hands-on, on your own device — you do the steps yourself so it sticks, not me doing it for you.
- Plain-English written notes — the steps we covered, written down for after I leave.
- Bigger, easier settings — larger fonts, louder ringers, simpler home screens if you want them.
- Scam-spotting as we go — how to recognize the texts, emails, and pop-ups to ignore.
- 30-day phone follow-up — forget a step? Call me and we'll go over it again, no charge.
What's not included (I'll tell you straight)
- —A new device itself — if you need one, I'll recommend the right fit and quote it at plain retail, no markup.
- —Monthly service or subscription fees (your phone, internet, or streaming bills) — those stay between you and the company.
- —Physical repairs like a cracked screen or a bad battery — that's a repair shop's job, and I'll point you to an honest one.

Common questions
How much do tech lessons cost?
$99 flat for an in-home lesson — up to 3 hours, and if we run long it's still $99. If you'd rather learn by screen-share, a remote lesson is a flat $49. Lessons are included free for $39/month Support Plan members. No hourly billing and no contract.
What can we cover in one lesson?
Whatever's on your list — texting and sharing photos, video calls with the grandkids, email and spotting scam messages, phone or tablet settings and bigger fonts, passwords, downloading apps safely, and finding your way around a new device. We go at your pace and you pick what matters to you.
Will you go slowly and explain things in plain English?
Always. There are no silly questions and no rushing. I explain things in plain English, let you do the tapping and typing yourself so it sticks, and I write down the steps so you have them after I leave.
Can you teach me on my own phone or computer?
Yes — we use your own device, not mine, so what you learn works the moment I leave. Bring whatever you want help with: iPhone or Android, iPad or tablet, Windows PC or Mac.
Can we do the lesson remotely?
Often, yes. For anything that lives on a screen — email, settings, apps, video calls, scam-checks — a $49 remote screen-share lesson works well. You watch the whole time and can end whenever you like. If it's easier in person, the in-home lesson is a flat $99.
