It's a great fit for a discount-hunter who wants the biggest screen and battery, clean Android, and a top camera, and doesn't mind a large two-hand phone.

Consider a different model if: If you'd rather have a one-hand phone, the compact 10 Pro (or the current Pixel 11) is easier to handle. Buying new? The Pixel 11 Pro XL is newer and updated a year longer. This one is about 232 grams.

3 Should I buy this, or something newer?

The Pixel 10 Pro XL is a big, capable phone that's a bargain at a discount if you want a large screen and long battery. But since Google no longer sells it new, buy only from a reputable seller with a warranty and returns, and make sure it's cleared of the previous owner's Google account. Shopping new? I'd point you to the Pixel 11 Pro XL.
