The Samsung Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra at a Glance

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra runs the newest software and does everything most people need — reading, web, video, photos and video calls with the family. Here's the plain-English guide, and there's a printable, 29-page version up top if you'd like the full deep-dive.

Common Questions

1 What makes the Samsung Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra special?

Here's what's worth knowing, in plain English:

  1. A huge 14.6-inch screen This is one of the largest tablets you can buy. For low-vision reading and for watching video, that enormous, bright AMOLED screen is genuinely wonderful.
  2. The S Pen is included Samsung's S Pen comes in the box for writing, precise tapping, and marking up documents — no extra purchase needed.
  3. Big, and best on a stand At 14.6 inches it's large and a bit heavy to hold for long stretches, so it shines on a stand or table — for movies, video calls, and reading at the kitchen counter.
  4. Runs Android with a desktop mode (DeX) It's an Android tablet (Google's Play Store for apps) and includes Samsung's DeX desktop mode, so with a keyboard it can stand in for a simple laptop.

2 Is the Samsung Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra right for me?

It's a great fit for someone who wants the biggest possible screen — wonderful for low-vision reading and for watching video — and is happy using it mostly on a stand or table.

Consider a different tablet if: If you want a tablet to hold in your hands for long stretches, or to slip in a bag, this one is large and heavy. A smaller Galaxy Tab or an iPad would be easier to live with.

3 How much does it cost, and where should I buy it?

As of September 2026, the Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra starts at $1,199.99. It's a premium, large tablet; Samsung's trade-in deals can lower it quite a bit, so always check the current price. As with the smaller Tab, the S Pen is included.

The Ultra's 14.6-inch screen is spectacular for anyone whose eyes appreciate a large, bright display, and the S Pen is included. Just know it's big, heavy and premium-priced, so it's happiest on a stand for movies and video calls. For an Android user who wants the biggest screen going, it's a treat; most people, though, will be better served by a smaller, lighter, cheaper tablet. Buy from Samsung, Best Buy or a carrier.

4 How do I get my photos and apps onto it?

Sign in with your Google account and a great deal comes across on its own — contacts, calendar, and any photos you'd backed up to Google Photos; Samsung's Smart Switch can copy even more. Getting new apps is easy: open the Play Store, search, and tap Install.

Rather have someone there for the setup? My $99 first visit covers it — sign-in, moving your photos, adding your apps, and making everything big and easy to read. (330) 200-8042.

5 How do I make it easier to see and hear?

Open Settings > Display > Font size and style and drag the slider; use Screen zoom to enlarge everything. Turn on Live Caption for words on videos, and know it works with many Bluetooth hearing aids. If the standard screen feels busy, Samsung's Easy Mode gives you a bigger, simpler layout.

6 How do I stay safe from scams?

Your tablet is safe; the tricks come by email, pop-up and web page. Google, Samsung and your bank will never call, text or email out of the blue to say your account is locked or you owe money — that's always a scam. Ignore scary pop-ups that give you a number to call, never read back a code someone sent you, and never let anyone rush you into gift cards or quick payments. When in doubt, hang up and call someone you trust — including me.

Want Me to Set It Up?

Setting up a new tablet is one of my most-requested house calls. I bring the patience and the cables — you keep your seat. We'll get you signed in, move your photos over, add the apps you want, walk through video calls with the family, and set up the accessibility options that help. $99 flat, and every visit is 30-day come-back-free. (330) 200-8042.

Would you rather I just do this for you?

No shame in it — plenty of folks would rather hand it off, and that's what I'm here for. I'll come to your home, set it up right, and make sure it's working before I leave. Flat $99 per visit — no jargon, no upsell, and every visit is 30-day come-back-free.

Not a hardware job? I can often fix it remotely for $49 — a secure screen-share, up to 2 hours, that you watch the whole time and can end whenever (included free for $39/mo Support Plan members, and it counts toward the $99 if it turns out I need to come out).
