If your property has a barn, shop, garage, or well-house, you have options a bare lot doesn't. A ground array can stand beside whichever building makes sense, or panels can go on an outbuilding's roof — if it's sound, sunny, and strong enough, which a pro should confirm. Power runs between the buildings underground in conduit, through a trench a licensed crew digs to code — and you call 811 before any digging. You'll hear the word 'subpanel': it's just a smaller breaker box out in a building, fed from your main panel. One array can help power your whole place. 5 Will solar by my well-house keep the water on during an outage?
