1 Is it safe to use a power station inside a tent?
Yes. It's a battery, not an engine, so there's no exhaust and no carbon monoxide — nothing to breathe in. That's the opposite of a gas generator, which must never run inside a tent or camper. Just keep the station dry and give it a little air.
2 How do I recharge it while camping?
Two main ways away from an outlet: from the car's 12-volt socket while you drive, and from portable solar panels in the sun at your site. Many campers use both, plus a full charge from the wall before they leave.
3 Can a power station run my RV air conditioner?
No. A rooftop air conditioner is one of the hungriest loads in an RV, with a big starting surge, and a portable battery can't carry it. A station is for the lights, devices, fan, and fridge; the air conditioner needs shore power or an RV generator.
4 Is a CPAP a good fit for camping power?
It's a great fit — a CPAP is a low, steady draw. The big power user is the heated humidifier and hose; turning the heat off stretches the runtime dramatically. If your machine has a DC cord, running it off the station's 12-volt output is even more efficient.
5 Can I take a power station on an airplane?
Almost never. Airlines limit lithium batteries to about 100 watt-hours aboard, and most power stations are well past that, so they can't fly in a carry-on or checked bag. Check the watt-hour number and confirm with your airline first.
6 What size should I get for travel?
