2 Do I have to maintain it?
No. It runs entirely on its own — nothing to set, service, or maintain. Your part is just using the battery sensibly; the BMS does the worrying.
3 My power station shut off by itself — is it broken?
Most likely not. That's usually the BMS protecting the pack from being too cold, too hot, drained too low, or pushed too hard. Warm or cool it, put it on the charger, and it typically comes right back.
4 Does a lead-acid battery have a BMS?
Usually not. Lead-acid is simpler and has no built-in guardian, so careful charging and storing is up to you — which is part of why it's easier to ruin.
5 Why can't I check a lithium battery's charge with a meter?
Lithium's voltage stays nearly flat as it drains, so a terminal reading tells you little. Trust the BMS-driven display or app instead — it's the honest gauge.
